Join us on Mondays from 10:30-12:30, beginning September 8th, for “Makerspace Mondays”. Bring your own projects from home to work on or feel free to check out the library’s supplies and get creative. Jordan Porter has offered to help lead this crafty group. This is a new endeavor for the library, and we are open to suggestions as this group evolves. “Makerspace Mondays” is geared towards adults, ages 18 and above.
Have you ever noticed the Legos by the computers? They’re always free to play with, but we also use them for our Legos at the Library Events! Legos at the Library invites all creative minds to build something and have fun with other kids.
Legos at the Library is the third Monday of every month at 4:00pm. This program is for children of all ages and abilities!
Join us for Story Time as we read a book or two, sing songs, do a craft, and more! Story Time has many benefits including boosting early literacy skills, aiding social skills, helps build motor skills, and more!
Story Time runs every Wednesday at 11:30am and is geared towards children up to 7 years old.
Join us on Wednesdays at 4:30 beginning September 10th for a Pokémon Card Swap, Trivia and basically all things Pokémon! This group is designed for youth ages 8-12. We will have extra cards to share for anyone looking to trade but are just getting started in their Pokémon training journey! P.S. Did you know the Gouverneur Library is a Pokémon gym?
