Empowerment Book Club

Join us for the next meeting of the Empowerment Book Club on Saturday, July 8th at 10:30am. This meeting will be held at Jumbo’s Diner. This month’s book is The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu.

The book club will be a building block for all that attend to focus on self-empowerment, mutual empowerment, and social empowerment. Through reading different books and the discussion of them, the members will work to provide support, guidance, and personal growth as a collective. Discussions will be led by Heather E Rich, LCSW, CASAC-MC and it is her goal for this group to support one another in the adventures and challenges of life; navigating and embracing that daily journey. The book club will be open discussion and open for all to attend.
